Jamie Frye Jamie Frye has been teaching at CDC for the past three years. She is currently a BFA major in Dance at George Mason University.
Jamie has been involved in dance since she was 4 years old. She was a competitive dancer at CDC*CT for 14 years, winning numerous regional and national level awards and titles. Jamie was also chosen as a member of the American Dance Team and danced in both Spain and Italy. The American Dance Team won the world cup both years she had been a member. In her later years she has become an award winning choreographer.
Jamie's intensive training includes ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary/lyrical. She has studied under a variety of teachers including Doug Varone, Elise Monte, Karen Reedy, Adrianne Fang, Linda Miller, Jim Lepore, and Susan Shield.
Jamie's focus is to inspire students through the art of dance while teaching classical technique, proper alignment, and innovative choreography.
